Welcome!

We created this blog because of our passion for food. Now we have a reference for everyone who asks "how'd you make this?", along with an archive for ourselves. If you're just starting out or already know your way around the kitchen, we have something here for you.

  5. YUMM! I love how basic the ingredients are but that it is something unique to try! Thanks for sharing - I'll go try that one at home. It was fun to feel like we were there in the kitchen with you - not so 'sterile' like some cooking shows with absolutely no background noise etc. Keep 'em comin'!

  7. So we tried it out tonight. We had some nectarines and peaches that were very ripe that we needed to eat up...so we gave this a whirl. I didn't have whipped cream - but used cool whip instead. I really liked it, Jared thought it was OK, he said, "he likes warm sweet fruit"...I think the tartness of the nectarines works well too! My kids are too picky to try new things so far...but I don't give up. I saw other Sauteed Peaches recipes that included lemon juice or 2 tablespoons orange-flavored liqueur, but no honey or milk. I like the honey and milk idea; and maybe it could be used as a a pancake topping? One site used sauteed peaches over pound cake and vanilla ice cream. Lots of fun things to do with this fruit!
